League Structure

Executive Board
Elected ICWLS officers consisting of President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Registrar, and Facilities Manager.
Responsibilities — The officers known as the executive board shall be responsible for conducting the operational business of the ICWSL.

League Advisory Board (LAB) — The LAB is made up of the elected ICWSL officers and a representative (team manager) from each team.
Responsibilities — The LAB shall act as govenor of the ICWSL with the power to arbitrate and make final decisons on all policy matters not covered by the Constitution and By-laws

Team Managers
Responsibilities — Uphold the Constitution, Code of Conduct, and League Rules of ICWSL. Send all team roster and league fees in to the ICWSL registrar on a timely basis. Give each player on his/her team a game schedule, copy of Participant Code of Conduct, and a copy of League Rules of the ICWSL.

Bring to each game:

  • A return envelope (if you are the home team) to provide to the referee in case of the issuance of a red card, since the refs must confiscate the WSSA players card in these cases.
  • A game ball, if home team.
  • A First Aid Kit including Ice (just in case).

Other Manager Responsibilities:

  • Keep players in control and playing in the spirit of the league.
  • Notify opposing team manger and own team of any game changes.
  • Keep in good communication with the LAB, (reporting any incidents he/she feels should be brought to the attention of the LAB).
  • Report to the Executive Board any shortages of players which you would like help getting filled.
  • Cooperate with the LAB on any player misconduct.
  • Insure all players have matching uniforms and are wearing proper equipment as per constitution of the ICWSL.
  • Report no-show referees within 24 hours of game, followed by written game report.
